In a state level, management of migration has become a key issue in Europe, and in particular for those countries located on the borders of the European space. The problem becomes especially delicate when it comes to minors, who arrived irregularly.

Felipe Romero Beltrán (Bogotá, 1992) comes into contact with a group of young people of Maghreb origin gathered in a center for minors in Seville. The initial objective was to teach them the language, but together they ended up finding a new language through which to show their lives in the host place, and break much of the stigmas associated with their presence.

Romero Beltrán won the Aperture award for best portfolio for Dialect, which has been seen in New York, Paris, Breda (The Netherlands) and Mannheim (Germany). In Porto, a selection of images from this series will be presented accompanied by Recital, a video installation on three channels that reveals the vulnerability, but at the same time, the resistance of these young people.
